SAY KIDS
New EP 'From Earth' coming out August 23rd
Say Kids are a band based in Nashville, Tennessee consisting of members Peyton Smith, William Cheatham, Matt Gay, and Olver Finch.Their music blends the tones of rock, pyschedelia, funk, and blues.”Our music is like punting through a Candyland board. It’s very fierce but happy. Lots of twists and turns,” says Smith. The band started back in early 2018 when Peyton moved from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Nashville where he met William while attending Belmont University and their amazing chemistry started almost instantly. A little bit later on, the two found drummer Matt Gay and bassist Oliver Finch after they moved from Los Angeles, California to Nashville to persue the same dreams as Peyton and Will. The four then put their musical talents together and came up with 12 original tracks, which will all be on their upcoming EP ‘From Earth’ that is coming out on August 23rd, 2019.
Say Kids will finally be releasing their long awaited EP ‘From Earth’ in just a month, August 23, 2019. The EP includes previously released singles, including "Doctor", "Curtain Call", "Homesick", and their latest single "Rectify", along with 2 brand-new unheard songs. The EP will be on all streaming platforms everywhere. Say Kids hasn’t put out anything besides singles, so this is a big moment for the band releasing their first big project. This is the first major release from Say Kids since their formation in September of 2018.
